Troubleshooting can be intimidating, especially with all the factors involved. This article allows you to keep working while giving STACK the performance data via a HAR file to troubleshoot the issue.
Google Chrome
- Click the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner of the browser
- Go to More Tools, then to Developer tools
- Click on the Network tab
- Look for the round button at the top left of the Network tab.
- If the round button is grey, click it once to turn it to red to start recording
- Check the box next to Preserve log
- Click the steps in STACK to illustrate the issue you are experiencing
- Save the HAR by right-clicking on the grid and choosing "Save as HAR with Content"
- Save this file to your desktop so you can email the file to your Customer Success Manager
Mozilla FireFox
- Click the 3 lines in the upper right-hand corner of the browser
- Choose Web Developer, then Network
- Click the steps in STACK to illustrate the issue you are experiencing
- Save the HAR by right-clicking on the grid and choose "Save ALL as HAR"
- Save this file to your desktop so you can email the file to your Customer Success Manager
Microsoft Edge
- Click the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner of the browser
- Choose More tools, then Developer Tools
- Click on the Network tab
- Look for the square button at the top left of the Network tab.
- If the square is grey, click the green triangle to start recording
- Click the steps in STACK to illustrate the issue you are experiencing
- Save the HAR by clicking on the disk icon to the right of the red square
- Save this file to your desktop so you can email the file to your Customer Success Manager
Apple Safari
- From the upper Menu, choose Develop and then Show Web Inspector
- Click on the network tab
- Put a checkmark next to Preserve log
- Click the steps in STACK to illustrate the issue you are experiencing
- Click the Export icon
- Save this file to your Mac so you can email the file to your Customer Success Manager
If you do not see a Develop tab in Safari:
- Go to Safari Preferences
- Select the Advanced tab
- Click Show Develop menu in menu bar
